sunday nite i went to louis pub to watch one of my all time favorite bands, they have been around since the late 80s. now the nite started off pretty funny. the show was a 16+ show, and when i got there, and gave him my ticket, i was also asked for my i.d., apparently i look younger than 16. sweet. after that i watched 3 bands that were allright, but nothing special, and then got to see Propagandhi. most of you probably wouldnt like these guys, i know for a fact that my dad doesnt, but on the other side of some of the things you (and even me) might disagree with, they have some great lyrics. singing for social justice and change, and this is a group of guys that actually does something about it. its hard to find people that are as sincere and passionate about these things as these guys are. so if you have a few minutes and are bored, they have some lyrics posted and some suggested reading on a variety of topics at www.propagandhi.com. be careful, it might challenge your thinking/world view.
and in other news, go by the new MEANS cd. all i can say is hot damn!

best part is...they are from Winnipeg!
If that's the best part..........
I don't even know what to say.
wilf has a point, i can see why he doesn't like those guys. i was trying hard to have an open mind about them..and when i looked past the obvious, it turned out i actually quite enjoyed it (old McShake was a highlight)...their passion and views on social justice certainly struck a chord with me, and even though i didn't agree with everything they were saying, i was challenged and got something out of it.
on a slightly negative note though, i'm pretty sure it was a fluke that you got i.d.'d. either that or i look like i'm 30.
hopefully you've kicked that fever's butt by now.
ha, I am older than you and still get ID'd I think its hilarious. I hope they still ID me in 3 yrs!! Propaghandi is evil. Anyway, I will send you that picture. ps. Adam says: "hey man, I miss ya, let us know when you will be in regina next. We will come for a visit!!"
"My dad doesnt like Propagandhi"

maybe second to real truckers.
you can wear my nuts on your nazi chin.
sweet lyrics is right.
i remember once when we were going to a hockey game, and the windows of the car were frosted, so you wrote Propagandhi on it. Dad didn't like this, and you guys had a good long debate about it. you likely lost the debate.
hear you got a new tatoo - where did you have any room to put it? on your butt?!
