in about 3 weeks or so i need to let my boss know whether i am going to transfer into the PhD program, or just finish my masters degree. i could finish my masters one year from now, or transfer into the phd program and be done in 3 years from now.
seriously. any suggestions would be sweet. lets have 'em.

i still think the chemical engineering idea is sweet. just because i think it would be exciting and challenging for you...and you could get a chance to travel and live somewhere else perhaps...and get a sweet job when it's all over.
but PhD comes in a close second.
not gonna lie, it would be sweet to have you stick around saskatoon for longer...but i know location shouldn't be the primary determinant in what you decide to do.

sounds lame and cliche, but go with your gut and [mostly] your heart. go with what gets you most excited. exactly how exciting bunsen burners and schlenk lines can be, i am not sure..but there's gotta be a reason you've come this far.

Isn't it interesting that God often gives us the choice of two good things? I think you will do great in either program as you have proven so far!! I am praying for you especially today. How about a visit the next time you are in Regina. Ellen

Whatever you do, No matter how much education you get, I will still beat you in football. That is a promise.
I haven't played since last time you were in town, so when you come we need to schedule in a tournament.

Are PHD students allowed to try out for varsity sports? Because if you can't get on the wrestling team, the title 'doctor' just isn't worth it.
