what do other countries think of canada?

apparently not much. or at least this guy doesn't...

"When you think of Canada, which qualities come to mind? The world's peacekeeper, the friendly nation, a liberal counterweight to the harsher pieties of its southern neighbour, decent, civilised, fair, well-governed? Think again. This country's government is now behaving with all the sophistication of a chimpanzee's tea party...

Until now I believed that the nation that has done most to sabotage a new climate change agreement was the United States. I was wrong. The real villain is Canada. Unless we can stop it, the harm done by Canada in December 2009 will outweigh a century of good works."

Hey Jerms, I was at a meeting last week and one presenter said that the new world currency is going to be water.

Just wondering what you thought about that. Do you think that Canada should be selling our fresh water to other nations (USA)? Is it ethical to restrict the amount of resources that we are willing to share. Are we in a position to say "We will do a better job of managing this resource".

Also does the water even belong to Canada or does it belong to humanity in general???

Your thoughts?

it also makes me want to give up my out of control recycling habit and go live on antarctica to get as far away from Canada's filthy ways as i can.
i shouldn't have read it.
